Las Vegas to host spring sporting events and March Madness viewing parties

(PRESS RELEASE) -- March brings some of the most exciting basketball games to Las Vegas, with teams battling it out on the hardwood for their conference titles. It’s only the start to a season filled with sports action, as the destination plays host to exhilarating games, matches, races and more throughout the spring.

March Mania Basketball Action Leads the Way to a Sports-Filled Spring in Las Vegas

The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas from Wednesday, 6 March through Sunday, 10 March.

The Credit Union 1 WCC Basketball Championship will take place at Orleans Arena at The Orleans Hotel and Casino from Thursday, 7 March through Tuesday, 12 March.

The Mountain West Conference Basketball Championship will take place at Thomas & Mack Center from Sunday, 10 March through Saturday, 16 March.

The Hercules Tires Big West Basketball Championships will take place at The Dollar Loan Center from Wednesday, 13 March through Saturday, 16 March.

The Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament will take place at Orleans Arena at Orleans Hotel & Casino from Wednesday, 13 March through Saturday, 16 March.

The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place at T-Mobile Arena from Wednesday, 13 March through Saturday, 16 March.

Spring Offers an Impressive Lineup in the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World

The United States Bowling Congress Open Championships are taking place from now through Sunday, 28 July at the USBC Tournament Bowling Plaza at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa.

Big League Weekend will return to Las Vegas Ballpark on Friday, 8 March and Saturday, 9 March, featuring two games between the Oakland A’s and the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Las Vegas Lights FC will begin its season on Saturday, 9 March, facing the Memphis 901 FC at Chapman Field. The season will continue through October.

The IFL’s Vegas Knight Hawks will play its first home game of the season on Sunday, 31 March, with all home games taking place at The Dollar Loan Center.

The Las Vegas Aviators, the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics (which will begin play in the destination in 2028 as the Las Vegas Athletics) will begin its season on Friday, 29 March with a home opener facing the Reno Aces. The season will run through September, with all home teams taking place at Las Vegas Ballpark.

Boxing will return to T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, 30 March, when Premier Boxing Champions presents a headlining bout between Keith Thurman and Tim Tszyu, with an opening match from Rolando “Rolly” Romero and Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz.

The LPGA Tour’s T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards returns to Shadow Creek Golf Course from Wednesday, 3 April through Sunday, 7 April.

The NHRA 4-Wide Nationals return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from Friday, 12 April through Sunday, 14 April.

L’Étape Las Vegas by Tour de France brings the excitement of the annual European cycling race to the destination on Sunday, 5 May.

The NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Regional will take place at Spanish Trail Country Club from Monday, 6 May through Wednesday, 8 May.

JAMZ Nationals: The Pinnacle Cheerleading Championship will take place at Orleans Arena at Orleans Hotel & Casino from Friday, 10 May through Sunday, 12 May.

The NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship will take place at Boulder Creek Golf Club and The Legacy Golf Club from Tuesday, 14 May through Friday, 17 May.

The Las Vegas Aces, the recent back-to-back WNBA champions, will begin their season with a home opener versus the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday, May 14 at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The season will run through September.

The Henderson Silver Knights, the AHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights, will continue its season through Saturday, 20 April, with all home games taking place at The Dollar Loan Center.

The NBA G League Ignite will continue its season through Monday, 25 March, with all home games taking place at The Dollar Loan Center.

The Vegas Thrill, the first Vegas team in the all-new Pro Volleyball Federation, will continue its season through Saturday, 11 May, with all home games taking place at The Dollar Loan Center.

The Las Vegas Desert Dogs, the destination’s hometown professional lacrosse team, will continue its season through Saturday, 20 April, with all home games taking place at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

The Vegas Golden Knights will continue its season through Thursday, 18 April, with all home games taking place at T-Mobile Arena. The current Stanley Cup champions will look to a post-season schedule to defend the team’s title.

Whether it’s NCAA Hoops or Beyond, Vegas Watch Parties Won’t Disappoint

Proper Eats Food Hall at Aria Resort & Casino will offer all-you-can-eat specials from Friday, 22 March through Sunday, 24 March.

Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas Resorts will offer several Hoops on the Strip specials and packages from Tuesday, 19 March through Monday, 8 April. These experiences feature gameday views, betting stations, drink packages and more at venues across its portfolio of resorts.

Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino will present Mania Under the Sun on select dates from Wednesday, 20 March through Monday, 8 April. The poolside venue’s 143-foot high-definition screen will play all the action, with the spot offering a variety of seating options. Other watch party options are available, including one at the Circa Sportsbook.

The D Las Vegas will offer a free viewing party with March Hoops on the 12th Floor, featuring gaming tables, betting stations, a bar and more.

Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino will present Madness at the Bay on Sunday, 17 March. The experience will feature a 30-foot LED wall, 50-plus TVs, and game sound.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas will introduce Bleau Buckets, a luxury college basketball tournament viewing experience inside the resort’s fully customizable BleauLive Theater from Thursday, 21 March, through Saturday, 23 March. The theater will be fully reimagined, allowing guests to feel like they are courtside with a 70-foot-wide LED screen, an on-site satellite sportsbook, and classic arcade games. Varying seating experiences are available.

The?Still Crafts, Drafts & Eats at The?Mirage Hotel & Casino will offer a viewing experience with 27 HDTVs and a high-energy center bar from Thursday, 21 March through Sunday, 24 March.

Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill at Palace Station Hotel and Casino will offer viewing options with over 30 HDTVs from Thursday, 21 March through Sunday, 24 March. The sports bar will also offer a “pop a shot” challenge in which guests will get two chances to make one shot and receive giveaway items and free drinks through Saturday, 23 March.

Chéri Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas will present the March Rooftop Hoops Blowout from Thursday, 21 March through Sunday, 24 March. The rooftop lounge will transform into a basketball fan-centric space offering supersized screens, upscale food stations, a beverage credit and reserved seating.

Palms Casino Resort will present a Poolside Viewing Party at its Palms Pool from 21 March to 24 March. Available amenities include cabana packages, couches, lily pads and open bar options.

Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas will offer a viewing opportunity with all games displayed on big-screen TVs visible throughout the restaurant, including a 200-inch video grid, a 200-inch projection screen, a 110-inch high-definition TV, two 80-inch high-definition TVs and 25 75-inch high-definition TVs.

Plaza Hotel and Casino will host its annual March Mania Viewing Party from Thursday, 21 March through Saturday, 23 March. Taking place in the resort’s showroom, the event is complete with an expansive 24-foot LED video wall.

Select PT’s Taverns locations across Las Vegas will offer viewing parties on Saturday, 6 April and Monday, 8 April. Visitors can enjoy limited-time food and beverage specials.

Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas will present viewing parties from Thursday, 21 March to Sunday, 24 March. Gameday bites will be provided by renowned New York restaurant (and recent Resorts World Las Vegas addition) at an additional cost, with table reservations featuring beverage minimums available.

The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod will present a viewing experience with courtside bites and more from Thursday, 21 March through Saturday, 23 March. In addition to a bar and gameday bites, the event is complete with reserved seating and raffle giveaways.

The Venetian Las Vegas will present Brackets at The Stadium from Thursday, 21 March through Saturday, 23 March. The unique venue offers plush stadium-style seating with unobstructed views of a 9-foot-by-16-foot screen (plus more than 100 TVs) surrounding the multi-level space. Several seating options are available. Full-service sports betting will be available, provided by William Hill, operator of Yahoo Sportsbook at The Venetian Resort.
