Las Vegas: Hard Rock fined for violations

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The Hard Rock hotel and casino has been fined $650,000 by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, UPI reported.

The fine came for violations of the law, in relation to allowing the sale of drugs and the toleration of public sex acts and prostitution, the UPI report said.

Hard Rock hotel and casino neither admitted nor denied the allegations, instead it settled the claims against it, the UPI report made note.
