Las Vegas comes together for #VegasStronger1 October 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Las Vegas community will come together honoring the destination’s unity and strength with days of #VegasStronger. Throughout the week, a variety of healing events will be offered giving Valley residents the options to participate and volunteer in remembrance with 1 October 2017. “#VegasStronger week will allow locals and visitors alike to pay their respects and allows time for quiet reflection for all those impacted by this tragedy,” said Deacon Tom Roberts, president and chief executive officer of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. “We are eternally grateful for our members of law enforcement, first responders, everyday heroes and members of the Las Vegas community who have all shown what it really means to be #VegasStronger.” VegasStronger week will include the following events: #VEGASSTRONGER Community Meal Date: 28 September Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. PDT Location: Catholic Charities’ St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility 1501 Las Vegas Blvd N.
