Las Vegas Casino Stock Down

25 November 2001

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Nov. 25, 2001 –The LVIA Gaming Stock Index, a 13-company gauge of casino industry stocks, was down 3.72 points for the week, or 1 percent, to close at 338.92.

Las Vegas locals casino giant Station Casinos was the week's leading gainer with a 27 percent jump in price to close Friday at $10.56.

Lottery supplier GTECH Holdings Corp. was the LVIA's sole decliner for the week falling 2.24 percent to close at $42.77.

Other companies in the LVIA index are Anchor Gaming, Argosy Gaming, Aztar Corp., Harrah's Entertainment, International Game Technology, Isle of Capri, Mandalay Resort Group, MGM Mirage, Park Place Entertainment, Pinnacle Entertainment and WMS Industries.
