Las Vegas advantage gambler loses appeal6 May 2011NEVADA -- A gambler has lost his case against the Mirage Casino-Hotel and the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Metropolitan News-Enterprise reported. The Nevada Gaming Control Board was sued by Alex Fayer for false arrest, battery and other allegations, the report said. Fayer claimed that the Mirage refused to cash his winnings and when he approached the Gaming Control Board for assistance he was arrested for using false identity, leading to charges that were later dismissed and to this lawsuit, Metropolitan News-Enterprise said. The court ruled however that Fayer's use of a false name was "probable cause for arrest", the report added. |
