Large World Cup gambling ring busted

MACAO -- An illegal World Cup gambling ring has been busted in Macau, Channel News Asia reported.

The group appear to operate in Macau hotel rooms, the report said.

Betting numbers were in the HK$5 billion range and 22 people were arrested, according to the Channel News Asia report.
