Ladbrokes shops to double up4 August 2010LONDON, England -- Ladbrokes plan to have its betting shops double up as call centres, according to a report in The Daily Mail. In what's described as "maximising staff efficiency" during slow times in the shop, the staff will work as call centre employees taking bets over the phone, The Daily Mail said. This is in contrast to William Hill's plan to relocate its call centre to Gibraltar, the report noted. |
