Ksa issues cease-and-desist order on Winning Poker Network27 March 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Dutch Gaming Authority (Ksa) determined in September 2022 that Winning Poker Network gave the opportunity to participate in illegal games of chance in the Netherlands on one of its websites. The provider has been held accountable for this. Subsequently, the provider promised the Gaming Authority to cease these practices. During the recheck that followed, the original website was no longer accessible from the Netherlands. But a closer inspection showed that a new account could easily be created on another website of the same provider. This made it possible to participate in the games of chance offered on that website. Because the supply of illegal games of chance had not been completely stopped, the Gaming Authority has imposed an order subject to periodic penalty payments on this provider. If Winning Poker Network again offers games of chance without a license, it will forfeit 25,000 euros per week with a maximum of 75,000 euros. The Ksa continues to check with the relevant provider.
