Kentucky's former governor says he can't support current amendment20 February 2012KENTUCKY -- A former Governor and Thoroughbred breeder has come out and said he "cannot support Gov. Steve Beshear's casino amendment", according to the Herald-Leader. Brereton Jones main objection to the amendment is that it should be decided by the people rather than the legislature and that it does not offer enough protection to the horse racing industry, the report said. |
