Kentucky Gov. calls for expanded gambling14 December 2011FRANKFORT, Kentucky -- Kentucky's Governor commenced his second term yesterday with expanded gambling on his mind, according to the Herald-Leader. Gov. Steve Beshear's inaugural address included his intention to expand gambling, the report said. Beshear has been an advocate for expanded gambling since his 2007 campaign for governor but has faced consistent opposition in the legislature, the Herald-Leader reported. |
