Kentucky amendment could permit 9 casinos4 January 2012KENTUCKY -- Kentucky's Governor is hoping to rally support for a constitutional amendment that would permit up to nine casinos in the state, the Courier-Journal reported. The suggestion is to place a casino at each of the state's eight race tracks, with one to go elsewhere, the report explained. Gov. Steve Beshear has cited this amendment as one of his main legislative goals, the Courier-Journal reported. |
