KC and The Sunshine Band heads to Rivers Casino28 May 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- KC and The Sunshine Band, known for their multi-platinum hits like “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” brings their unique pop-funk sound to The Event Center at Rivers Casino on Friday, 12 July, at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale and start at $45. Delivering feel-good music since 1973, the “sunshine sound” that originated from the lead singer’s Florida roots earned KC and The Sunshine Band four No. 1 records and multiple Grammy, Lifetime Achievement and American Music awards. KC and The Sunshine Band has toured nonstop for over 40 years, performing their timeless music all over the world. Since the release of their first hit single, “Blow Your Whistle,” which landed a spot in the top 15 on the R&B charts, the group has become an international sensation with over 10 studio albums; their music has been featured in over 200 movies and commercials and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
