Kathleen Madigan to perform in Schenectady23 September 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Award-winning comic and TV personality Kathleen Madigan will bring her uproarious stand-up show to the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Friday, 27 December 2019. Madigan, whose stellar career has spanned nearly 30 years, and includes performances on every late night show ever made, will treat guests to an evening of laughs they will never forget. Tickets go on sale Friday, 27 September at 10 a.m. Tickets are $50 and available online or the Proctors Theater Box Office in Schenectady. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. A true road warrior who is still having a blast touring, and selling out theaters across the country, Kathleen Madigan’s comedy resume includes 25 appearances on the Tonight Show, multiple appearances on Letterman and Conan and, most recently, an appearance with Jerry Seinfeld on his internet series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Her fifth, and most recent stand-up special, Bothering Jesus is out on Netflix, and the Detroit Free Press describes her as “. . . the funniest woman doing stand-up right now, but no gender qualifier is necessary. Along with Lewis Black, Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan, she’s one of the funniest stand-up comedians of her generation.” Madigan has performed internationally at festivals in Ireland, England, Hong Kong, Australia, and filmed six Montreal Gala Shows at the Montreal Comedy Festival for CBC TV. She’s won American Comedy and Phyllis Diller award’s for “Best Female Comedian” and performed multiple USO tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. |
