Kansas: State gets $74 million from lottery sales

KANSAS -- The state take from sales of lottery tickets is up by $2.5 million this year, according to the Wichita Eagle.

In total the state will benefit to the tune of $74.5 million, the report explained.

The money is then allocated by a formula which includes: state general fund, problem gaming fund, economic development fund, prison facilities fund and more, according to the Wichita Eagle report.
