Kansas Star Casino's sixth annual Trees of Hope15 October 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Kansas Star Casino invites local nonprofit organizations to submit their entry to participate in one of Kansas Star’s favorite holiday traditions, Trees of Hope. The Kansas Star Casino will host up to 15 local charities during this year’s tree-decorating competition. Kansas Star customers will vote for their favorite tree located in the Rotunda as organizations compete for the top prize. This holiday season Kansas Star will award over $12,000 to nonprofits through Trees of Hope. The top performing charity will be awarded the grand prize of $5,000, 2nd place of $2,500, 3rd place of $1,000 and $300 for 4th-15th place. Applicants are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and must represent a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Wichita and the surrounding areas. Proof of tax status must be provided when submitting an entry. |
