Kansas City Casinos Results Slip

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – As reported by the Wichita Business Journal: "Kansas City-area casinos' revenue decreased 1 percent in April, and customer counts fell 5 percent compared with the same month last year, according to statistics the Missouri Gaming Commission released Wednesday.

"The Kansas City market's four casinos reported combined revenue of $58.4 million in April, down from $58.8 million in April 2005, the agency said in a release.

"The four casinos combined had 917,368 customers in April, down from 966,464 customers last year…"
