Kansas City-Area Casino Revenue Rises

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – As reported by the Kansas City Business Journal: "The Kansas City area's four casinos posted combined revenue of $60.8 million in January, up 9 percent from $55.7 million a year earlier, the Missouri Gaming Commission reported Friday.

"Ameristar Casino & Hotel Kansas City led area casinos in January with revenue of $22.8 million, up 12 percent from $20.4 million a year earlier.

"…Harrah's North Kansas City Casino & Hotel posted revenue of $17.2 million, up 18 percent from $14.6 million a year earlier.

"…Argosy Casino reported revenue of $13.1 million, up 2 percent from $12.8 million a year earlier.

"…Isle of Capri Casino posted revenue of $7.8 million, down 3 percent from $8 million a year earlier…"
