Kansas Casino Proposal Gets Local Support

KANSAS – As reported by the Wichita Eagle: "The Park City Council on Wednesday passed a resolution supporting a casino for nearby Harvey County.

"Voters in Harvey and Sumner counties last month approved casinos should the Legislature pass an expanded gambling bill.

"…Council members who supported the resolution cited the jobs and business they believe a casino close to them could bring to Park City…"
