Kansas casino deadline extended19 July 2007KANSAS -- As reported by the Kansan Newsz: "The Kansas Lottery Commission on Wednesday extended the deadline for groups to submit applications to build a casino in Wyandotte County. And the commission also further solidified The Woodlands' ability to install 800 slot machines at the greyhound and horse racing facility. "The five-member commission on Wednesday unanimously approved a request by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County to extend by 90 days the deadline for applications to be submitted for a 'Lottery Gaming Facility,' or casino, in the state's Northeast Gaming Zone. The new deadline for the Northeast Gaming Zone is Dec. 31, 2007, and replaces the previous deadline of Oct. 1..." |
