Kansas board approves license extension26 October 2007KANSAS -- As reported by the Wellington Daily News: "In a unanimous vote, the five-member Kansas Lottery Commission approved extending the deadline for casino proposals in Sumner County. "The Kansas Lottery Commssion held a special meeting Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m., and voted on the issue. One board member expressed a dislike for the extensions, but it was also pointed out all the casino zones in the state have been extended. "...The new deadline for proposals is 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28..." |
