Judge halts Tohono O'odham Nation's Glendale casino plan

PHOENIX, Arizona -- A federal judged has put a stop to the Tohono O'odham Nation's plans to build a casino in the suburbs of Glendale, Courthouse News reported.

Citing public interest judge David Campbell delivered his verdict on the complicated case on Tuesday, the report explained.

Campbell determined that "Public interest is best served by maintaining the status quo", Courthouse News quoted.
