Joilet Casino Revenue Up

ILLINOIS – As reported by the Daily Southtown: "Revenue for Joliet's casinos was substantially higher in June than a year ago, while northwest Indiana's Blue Chip and Resorts casinos posted significant revenue increases from 2005.

"Joliet's Empress Casino generated $20.6 million in June, a 9.3 percent increase from June 2005, according to the Illinois Gaming Board's monthly report released Monday.

"Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel reported $27.5 million of revenue, an 8 percent increase from last year…"
