John McCain seen playing poker during Syria hearing4 September 2013WASHINGTON D.C -- John McCain was snapped attentively playing poker on his iphone during the Senate Syria hearing yesterday, the Guardian reported. A Washington Post photographer, Melina Mara, nabbed a picture of Senator McCain, who did not seem particularly contrite when caught, the report said. In a tweet McCain, who is firmly pro-intervention, implied the length of the 3 hour plus hearing as the reason, rather than overwhelming passion for poker, according to The Guardian report. |
