Jockey Club considering Cheltenham overhaul23 December 2011LONDON, England -- An overhaul of the Cheltenham race course is being considered by the Jockey Club, The Guardian reported. There is some speculation that the "revamp" could commence as quickly as 2014, the report said. Aintree and Epsom racetracks were both renovated by the Jockey Club, but Cheltenham accounts for a much higher amount of their profits and the investment to revamp would require significant capital to be raised, The Guardian report explained. |
