Jimmy Buffett inducted into the "Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame"

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The beach king himself, Jimmy Buffett was inducted into the "Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame" today, Thursday, August 30th, just hours prior to performing for an excited sold-out audience in Mohegan Sun Arena. He received his star before an enthusiastic crowd of 250 Parrotheads, a crowd that rivals any other prior Walk of Fame induction.

With more than thirty years in the music business, Buffett is the personification of an easygoing, fun loving lifestyle. Along with his Coral Reefer Band, Buffett represents one of music's most successful and longstanding touring acts. His first show in Mohegan Sun Arena was in June of 2005 and he has since become a summer favorite on the Mohegan Sun concert calendar. His performance today, will mark an attendance of over 25,000 fans who have traveled to Mohegan Sun to attend a Jimmy Buffett concert in recent years.

During the induction ceremony Buffett said "I kept hearing about this great place Mohegan Sun and so I had to come out and check it out for myself, so I came, and I keep coming back, here's to many more great shows!"
