It's A Major Deal To Decorate Foxwoods24 December 2003Mashantucket, Connecticut – As reported by the Day: ``If you think decorating your home for the holidays is a chore, consider the effort it took to deck the halls of the world's largest casino. ``Decorators erected 50 trees and hung 75 wreaths throughout Foxwoods Resort Casino. They installed about 10,000 lights, strung 2,000 feet of garland and hung 16,000 ornaments. ``Boston company Party By Design won the contract for this year's holiday decorating. The designers took two weeks to trim the casino, starting at the beginning of November. The company did not adopt a single theme, but used style, color or objects that relate to specific locations, according to Beth Gentile, special events coordinator…" |
