Island urged to step up gambling27 June 2007JERSEY -- As reported by the BBC: "Jersey's economy needs to catch up in the online gambling sector, according to the minister responsible for developing the island's economy. "This year Alderney doubled its income from online gaming, an area which Senator Phillip Ozouf says Jersey is patchy on. "Mr Ozouf said making changes agreed by Jersey States on reforming the island's gaming laws was essential. "A local businessman has also criticised the island's 'lack of vision'..."
