Island Resort & Casino has temporarily closed

18 March 2020

Island Resort & Casino in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Below is a statement from the Facebook Page:

"As you are aware the Island Resort and Casino has been shutting down departments these past few days. With a full resort as large and complex as the Island Resort & Casino, it takes time to contact all of our bookings and direct mail customers to let them know we will be closing for a period of time and that they can reschedule for a later date. The casino will officially close at 12 PM ET on Saturday, March 21, 2020 through Monday, April 6th, 2020.

All employees will be compensated during the shutdown. We would like to thank all of our customers, vendors and employees for their patience.

We look forward to seeing you in the future."
