Ireland: Ski, casino development planned

DUNDALK, Ireland -- Plans were unveiled Monday for a new €430 million ski, casino and all-weather tourism complex in Ireland, according to a Press Association report.

The development relies on the Irish government relaxing the gambling laws and is hoped to create 1,500 jobs.

The casino will be part of a later phrase in the development, and the entire development will be privately funded, the Press Association report said.
