Ireland: Gambling body questions demand for super-casino

DUBLIN, Ireland -- An Irish gaming industry body has expressed caution amid escalating talk of a super casino in Ireland, according to the Sunday Business Post.

David Hickson, the director of the Gaming and Leisure Association of Ireland said the Irish economy may not have the demand to support such a casino, the Sunday Business Post said.

Ireland continues to seek progress on repealing current gambling laws and updating regulation to reflect technology change, progress which Hickson supported and welcomed, the report stated.
