Front of the House Team Members of the Month for April:

Kevin Barker, Housekeeper, was nominated by Environmental Services (EVS) Shift Manager, Emmanuel Bradley. “Kevin has shown a positive attitude and desire to learn,” said Bradley. “His section is constantly among the best. His methodical approach to the job and easy-going personality have made him a first choice for training new hires. Kevin's dedication, knowledge of his job and willingness to help others makes him an excellent example of Boyd Style.”

Phillip Silvani, Housekeeper, was also nominated by Bradley. “Phillip's knowledge of the job is clearly visible in the proficiency and competency in which he completes his work,” said Bradley. “His hard work and positive attitude are greatly appreciated by his fellow EVS Attendants and management.”

Sandra Sandoval-Garcia, Guest Room Attendant, was nominated by Housekeeping Shift Manager, Meshia Newsome. “Sandra exemplifies what teamwork truly is,” said Newsome. “She is efficient, hardworking, committed and dedicated to ensuring she completes her daily tasks without one complaint.”

Back of House Team Members of the Month for April:

Karen Burns, Senior Human Resources Specialist, was nominated by Human Resources Director, Connie Mackay. “From day one in the Employment Center, Karen has been eager to learn,” said Mackay. “She is brilliant at assisting team members and applicants, and it has been a true pleasure to watch her grow in the HR profession.”

Randall Ball, Senses Spa & Salon Attendant, was nominated by Senses Spa & Salon Supervisor, Abby Phillips. “Randy gives his job 110 percent every day and it shows,” said Phillips. “When there are special projects that need to be done, we can always count on Randy to complete them, and with a smile on his face. Thank you, Randy, for every day you make the Spa a special place.”

Ashley Smith, Senior Human Resources Specialist, was nominated by Human Resources Director, Connie Mackay. “Ashley has done a tremendous job pulling the Employment Center together and providing exceptional assistance to all team members, new hires, and applicants,” said Mackay. “It's a pleasure watching Ashley grow in her position and the Human Resources profession.”

Front of House Team Members of the Month for May:

My T. Le, Retail Salesclerk, was nominated by Supervisor of Retail, Tiffany Abston. “She consistently goes the extra mile to aid the department when any unforeseen circumstances arise, whether it be changing her schedule or staying late,” said Abston. “She’s received plenty of verbal and written guest comments that highlight her smile, humorous personality, and helpful nature. Retail truly has an invaluable and one-of-a-kind team member.”

Lisa Ramsey, Table Games 21 Dealer, was nominated by Table Games Supervisor, Josie Gautreaux. “Lisa goes above and beyond helping our guests,” said Gautreaux. “Lisa is helpful and represents Boyd Style in all she does and we appreciate her dedication and hard work.”

Ashanti Martin, Player Development Representative, was nominated by Player Services Supervisor, Caroline Fountain. “During an extended period where the host desk was severely understaffed, Ashanti was able to maintain quality standards despite being the only Player Development Representative,” said Fountain. “She tackled the extra responsibilities, schedule changes, and additional tasks with a professional attitude, smiling, and a willingness to help that could not be matched. Her dedication to her job and the department is truly an asset to IP and Boyd Gaming.”
