Iowa Panel to Make Casino License Decision

IOWA – As reported by the Hawk Eye: "A state panel is poised to make a long–awaited decision on new casino licenses Wednesday in Johnston.

"The Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission will choose from among 10 applications, including a golf and casino resort proposed in Riverside, the Washington County hamlet south of Iowa City.

"The state regulatory panel said last week it expects to award between three and five new licenses during Wednesday's meeting…"
