Iowa City Council Approves Casino Proposal

DAVENPORT, Iowa – As reported by the WQAD 8: "In a 7-3 vote, Davenport City Council cleared the way for the Rhythm City Casino Expansion Proposal.

"After three hours of public comment and debate, the council approved the proposal for the $43 million project.

"…Meanwhile, casino reps say they're extremely happy with the outcome. Gwen Tombergs, Promotions and Advertising Manager for the Casino, says concerned citizens can still be part of the process as future plans go before council…"
