Iowa: 4 pitches for casinos stress jobs, revenue24 March 2010IOWA -- Pitches were made to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission yesterday with aim of securing for new casino licenses in Iowa, the Des Moines Register reported. The pitches put emphasis on jobs and revenue for struggling Iowa towns, the Des Moines Register said. Representatives of four Iowa towns made presentations, the report said. This was considered the first step in the process with the final decision on casino licenses due May 13, 2010, The Des Moines Register said. |
