Intertops.com Offers Odds on Grammys6 January 2004ST. JOHN'S, Antigua – (Press Release) -- Justin Timberlake seems to have left Britney behind and is up for grabbing more than one Grammy at the 46th Grammy Awards, according to Internet bookmakers Intertops.com. Promising to draw an audience of more than 2 million, homage will be paid to the heroes of pop music at the Los Angeles Staples Center on February 8. Online sports book Intertops.com is proving, once again, it's number one in entertainment betting by putting together a medley of bets to harmonize with the event. At number one is Justin Timberlake, 1/1, for Best Pop Vocal Album and Vocal Male Performance; also in the running for Best Album at 3/1, he looks set to clear the most Grammys this year. Lennox and Aguilera both at 2/1 are Bare, Beautiful and Stripped ready to battle it out for second place for Best Vocal Album -- watch the fur fly! But if Christina loses that one, she's favourite, 1/1 in the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, so hopefully there will be no tears back stage. Eminem is back and doesn't want to lose a Grammy. He's tipped at 7/4 to win Best Song of the Year, closely followed by the old soul Luther Vandross. "Pop music is for everyone, and live music with awards -- what more could a viewer wish for!" said Intertops.com Chief Bet Manager Michael Maerz. "This is the fifth year running that Intertops.com has offered odds on the Grammys and we don't intend to stop. Betting on Pop is more popular than ever and we offer odds on American and World Idol, which are bringing us future Grammy hopefuls," he said. |
