International Bacon Day in Las Vegas17 August 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- MB Steak, located at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas, will celebrate International Bacon Day with the Maple Bacon Maria cocktail — the steakhouse’s twist on a classic bloody maria. The bacon-infused cocktail is made with mezcal mixed with MB Steak’s house-made bloody mary mix, comprised of fresh tomato juice, horseradish, Worcestershire, lime, lemon, orange, pepper, Tabasco and celery salt. The drink is garnished with MB’s signature maple-glazed applewood-smoked bacon, celery and olives stuffed with smoked blue cheese, paprika, Sriracha and sautéed bacon. The rim is a blend of Spanish-smoked paprika, bacon, cayenne pepper and Tajin. Cabo Wabo Cantina, located Strip-side at the Miracle Mile Shops in Las Vegas, will celebrate International Bacon Day on Saturday, 1 September with a tasty cocktail, made with a touch of bacon! The Hog’s Tale is a Cabo Wabo original cocktail, made with made with Sammy Hagar’s Santo Mezquila, watermelon puree, honey, lemon juice, stirred and garnished with a slice of crispy bacon. Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, located in Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, offers guests an authentic, Mexican take for International Bacon Day on Saturday, 1 September – camarones a la Vallarta: large shrimp wrapped in bacon, sautéed in garlic, butter and white wine sauce, served with Mexican-style rice and beans and a variety of sautéed julienned vegetables. Bacon Day isn’t complete without bacon-wrapped dates from Therapy restaurant, located in Downtown Las Vegas. The ‘Devils on Horseback’ is a flavorful dish consisting of a date stuffed with truffle goat cheese and almonds that’s wrapped in cooked bacon, then laid among a devilishly delicious bed of Romesco sauce. The stuffed dates are perfect for sharing and are priced at $14. |
