Innovative Gaming Expects Profit29 March 2001LAS VEGAS, Nevada –March 29, 2001 --Innovative Gaming Corp. of America announced it expects to report an operating profit for the quarter ending Dec. 31. The Las Vegas company said it recorded $343,000 in operating income and sales of $3 million for the quarter. It did not provide year-ago comparisons. For the year, Innovative Gaming said it posted an operating loss of $458,000 on sales of $8.9 million, compared to an operating loss of $12.7 million on sales of $4 million in 1999. The company attributed improved results to strong sales in the second half of 2000. Innovative Gaming said it will report complete financial results next week. Innovative Gaming is a manufacturer of video slot machines and video-based, automated table games. |
