Indiana gaming results released

INDIANA -- As reported by the Bedford Times Mail: "The Indiana Gaming Commission has released wagering and admission reports for the state's 11 casinos during the month of June and the French Lick Resort Casino hit its highest mark in number of gamblers and amount of money taken in since its inaugural month last November.

"The report shows that 139,687 people visited the casino in June, an increase of 21,238 from May's 118,449 and trailing the most to enter the casino in one month by 16,576.

"That high-water mark came in November, the casino's first full month of operation.

"And as far as money made from gaming in June, the French Lick 'boat' raked in about $9.3 million, almost a $1 million improvement over the reported $8.4 million in May..."
