Indiana gaming properties closed until further notice

20 April 2020

On 20 April, a representative from the Indiana Gaming Commission confirmed with Casino City the gaming properties will remain closed until further notice.

The commission announced on 14 March that it was ordering the temporary shutdown of the 13 state-regulated gaming facilities for at least two weeks beginning at 6 a.m. local time on Monday, 16 March, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Here's the original statement from the Indiana Gaming Commission:

"Based on changing circumstances and in the interest of public health, Indiana licensed gaming and racing operations will close for at least 14 days beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020. The Indiana Gaming and Horse Racing Commissions will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as appropriate."
