Indiana Gaming Commission announces temporary shutdown gaming facilities

UPDATE - 20 April 2020: A representative from the Indiana Gaming Commission confirmed with Casino City that all of the state's gaming properties have been closed until further notice.

The Indiana Gaming Commission announced today that it was ordering the temporary shutdown of the 13 state-regulated gaming facilities for at least two weeks beginning at 6 a.m. local time on Monday, 16 March.

Here's the statement from the Commission:

"Based on changing circumstances and in the interest of public health, Indiana licensed gaming and racing operations will close for at least 14 days beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020. The Indiana Gaming and Horse Racing Commissions will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as appropriate."
