Indiana Commission Prepares Interview for Casino Hopefuls9 January 2004FRENCH LICK , Indiana – As reported by the (South Central Indiana) Times-Mail: "After approving a list of questions for prospective casino operators in Orange County, the Historic Hotel Preservation Commission on Wednesday stressed there are no front-runners in the quest to get the casino contract. "HHPC member Steve Ferguson told fellow commission members, 'One of the things that you hear on the street are a lot of comments and rumors about some applicants may have advantages over others in this process, and I just want to make it clear that this is a level playing field.' "During Wednesday's session, the seven-member HHPC unanimously approved a two-page document that carries 10 questions. The questions are those that the local panel would like to see incorporated into the final Request for Proposal the Indiana Gaming Commission sends out to the four applicants interested in operating the casino in the Springs Valley community…" |
