Indiana Casino Revenue to Relieve Rising Property Taxes8 April 2004CROWN POINT, Indiana – As reported by the Indiana Post-Tribune: " — County casino money should be used to deflate residents' ballooning property tax bills, county commissioners said Wednesday. "The three-member board unanimously endorsed motions recommending roughly $17 million the county collects annually from casinos in the area be earmarked for property tax relief.
