Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention announces 2018 lineup

15 February 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Emerging gaming technologies, casino operations, legislative updates, marketing best practices, and leadership and development will be among the 14 education tracks offered at this year's Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention, the largest gathering of tribal leaders and casino executives in the industry. Taking place 17-20 April, the event comes to Las Vegas for the first time and provides a comprehensive resource for attendees to find the skills, strategies and tactics needed to navigate the ever-changing gaming landscape.

This year's program has been designed to offer all-inclusive education for every role and level of experience. Shaped by conference chairman Victor Rocha of Pechanga.net and Victor Strategies, the sessions provide perspective into the future of gaming as well as opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with the gaming community.

"We are proud to be able to host a forum for our members and the entire industry to come together to learn and connect, all with the goal of celebrating our great industry and working together," commented National Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr. "We are excited to be in Las Vegas for the first time and believe this will provide a unique opportunity for tribal and corporate gaming to come together."

Added Rocha, "This year's program was shaped by the issues of the day and focuses on the business of gaming. We want conference attendees to visit the sessions and then be prepared to head to the show floor to see the latest technology and products and know what they need to drive success. This year's program will leave professionals equipped with the skills they need to improve profitability."

The 2018 program will take place Tuesday, 17 April until Wednesday, 18 April, and highlights include:
  • A look into emerging game technologies including mobile on premise gaming, iGaming, esports and sports betting.
  • How to diversify your business by integrating guest expectations and turning challenges into opportunities.
  • The latest in gaming technology, including cybersecurity, Class II updates, big data and behavioral analytics.
