Ilinois: Gov. Quinn quiet on gambling-expansion issue17 June 2011SPRINGFIELD, Illinois -- Gov. Pat Quinn is keeping his cards close to his chest over the question of his signature on gambling expansion legislation, St Louis Today reported. The governor, at a private meeting with legislators, was described as taking a lot of notes and asking lots of questions, but did not indicate his opinion on matters, the report said. Previously though the governor has expressed the opinion he thinks there is too much contained in the bill, St Louis Today report said. |
