IGT to provide mobile games to Paddy Power21 June 2011SAN FRANCISCO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology (IGT) announced today an agreement to supply mobile games to Paddy Power, the largest provider of sports betting and eGaming in Ireland, and the fastest growing provider in the UK. Paddy Power, which recently reported significant growth in its mobile sportsbook offering, is supplying IGT’s mobile games to customers via its Paddy Power Games mobile website. Players have access to all IGT web apps available for the iPad®, iPhone®, iPod® touch and Android™ smartphone devices. The agreement includes the initial launch of six leading IGT mobile games titles including Rainbow Riches Pots of Gold, Jacks or Better video poker, 20+ Blackjack, Wipeout, Cleopatra and MONOPOLY Multiplier. “Adding IGT’s leading titles to its existing games mix will help Paddy Power fully maximize its burgeoning mobile platform,” said Gideon Bierer, IGT executive vice president of Interactive. “This popular assortment of games will also allow the company to continue growing its mobile gaming business.” "An increasing proportion of our customers are transacting via mobile games,” said Mike Phelan, business development manager, Paddy Power Games. “Improving our mobile games portfolio at paddypowergames.com is necessary for us to continue to build on this trend and keep up with increasingly sophisticated consumer demands.” IGT provides online and mobile gaming solutions for regulated markets through its global Interactive division, which was created by the merger of the company’s WagerWorks and Million-2-1 groups.
