IGT secures sports betting platform license in West Virginia23 August 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology PLC today announced that the company received an interim license by the West Virginia Lottery Commission to provide its PlayShot integrated sports betting platform in the state. With this approval, casino operators in West Virginia now have the option to partner with IGT to participate in the rapidly evolving U.S. sports betting market. "Receiving approval from the West Virginia Lottery Commission to deploy IGT's PlayShot sports betting solution throughout the State continues IGT's momentum in pioneering sports betting across the U.S., and creates additional new market opportunities for IGT," said Enrico Drago, IGT Senior Vice President PlayDigital.
