Hurricane Sandy responsible for Atlantic City revenue decline

NEW JERSEY -- New Jersey saw revenue decline 8 percent in 2012 and Hurricane Sandy is considered the culprit, according to New Jersey.com

Gambling spend in Atlantic City is down 40 percent since 2006, the report said.

Hurricane Sandy is thought to have impacted casino revenue for months deterring visitors, New Jersey.com said.
