Horseshoe, Maryland Live casinos seek changes in slot machine numbers

21 January 2015

BALTIMORE, Maryland -- Maryland Live and Horseshoe Baltimore want to trade slot machines for table games, the Baltimore Sun reported.

Maryland Live wants to reduce slots by 300 and increase table games by 13, while Horseshoe likewise wants 300 less slots with an additional 30 table games, the report said.

Casinos keep more revenue from table games than slot machines, the Baltimore Sun made note.

The proposal will be considered by the Maryland Gaming Commission, the report noted.
