Horse racing measure barred from Nebraska ballot5 September 2014LINCOLN, Nebraska — The Nebraska Supreme Court has thrown out a horse racing ballot measure which it said violated the state constitution, KETV reported. The measure had been due to go on a ballot in November, but the court ruled that it breached a rule which forbids voters casting a single vote on two unrelated issues, the KETV report said. |
