Hoosier battles the cheaters4 October 2010HOOSIER CITY, Indiana -- Hoosier casinos are constantly up against cheaters, even the low tech and small scale ones, according to a Courier-Journal report. The most common forms of cheating in Indiana casinos are capping and pinching (adding and removing chips), The Courier-Journal investigation showed. Indiana casinos have strong round-the-clock security that monitors every aspect and play of the operations, according to the report. In a recent low-tech example, three men put a wrench in four slot machines at Grand Victoria Casino resulting in $1,700 worth of winnings, The Courier-Journal report cited. |
